I like this portrait because it focus only on the subjects. the photo is clearly centered and well set up. the expressions on the child's face is similar to that of the dog which makes the photo funny and enjoyable to look at. It reminds you when life was easy, and just like a dog you were just running around without a single care. The boy and the dog both look like there are already eyeing their next adventure without even worrying about the photo session

I really like this photo because the boy is unhappy and the fact that the gunshot broken glass is perfectly over his face. It adds to a back story behind the photo that one might not know about. the window frame helps frame the boys face and allows that to be the centre of attention. The look that the boy has is one that is filled with sadness and the cracked window helps depict the story even more.
